Located on Plaza Dorrego, the historic center of San Telmo, this large(170m2)1880's French style penthouse has 14 foot ceilings and has been renovated with modern conveniences while still keeping the original details. One block from the oldest and most famous covered market where there are cutting edge young chefs, antique shops and food markets and a block away from the Museum of Modern Art--it is also within walking distance of Puerto Madera. And Tango in the square….. The space 2 balconies are facing the park with beautiful light streaming all day. Upon entering there is a marble staircase with wood bannister leading to Penthouse on the second floor. The three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms open into a glass canopy overlooking the sunny quiet inner courtyard: the master bedroom with a queen sized bed and its own full bathroom, the second bedroom with two single beds(can be a queen), and the third bedroom with a queen (that can be changed to 2 twin beds). There is a second full bathroom down the hall with a rainshower. . Guest access The guest have the entire apartment. Transfers can be arranged by my wonderful manager, Patricia. Other things to note We love this apartment and took special care in our renovation. The doors and fixtures are original and they have to be handled carefully--Patricia will run through it with you. Our hope is that you are as considerate as you would be in your own home. Please let Patricia know if anything was broken, thank you. There is no elevator and the apartment is on the 2nd floor(2 flights of stairs) There is.a $20 checkin and $20 checkout fee for bookings less than 5 days. Maid service(ironing as well) is available on request and can be paid directly to the house keeper
