The space PASEO DE LA CISTERN Paseo de la Cisterna is a modern building in the historic center of the City of Buenos Aires. It is located just two blocks from Plaza de Mayo, connected to the subway lines A, D, E and the Metrobus downstairs. It has a Site Museum, with archaeological finds found during the excavation, including one of the largest cisterns in Latin America. (Cistern: Rainwater underground tank). The excavations were carried out by an interactive archaeological team whose goal was to rescue the thousands of objects and fragments found on the site and gather information to tell the daily life story of those who inhabited it. For years the marriage made up of Juan Manuel de Rosas and Encarnación Ezcurra lived on-site, which functioned as the Governor's Residence. The building has a design in keeping with the environment, following the construction lines of the neighboring buildings in a harmonious way.
