Hi there! We are Minerva (the cat and real owner of the house) and Salvina. Welcome :) We are spending a season out of the city, so we decided to open our home for thous who may feel that this is the perfect place for your stay in Buenos Aires. Recycled in a 100 years building, this special place is close to everything and invites you to live a truly authentic "San Telmo´s neighbor" experience. The space You will notice that Casa Minerva is actually our home. So this is an "old school Airbnb experience" :) That´s why you´ll find some of our stuff, such as books, antique tableware, artwork, and out of season clothes. This´ll be your perfect place if you are looking to feel like you´re staying at a friend´s, or like an authentic San Telmo´s neighbor. You can do groceries at the San Telmo´s Market, visit some of the most important Museums of the city (MAMBA and MACBA), and vibe with the special energy that this neighborhood has :) Because we love to host, and the most important thing is to help you to have a great stay in Buenos Aires, here are some notes that you may consider in order to make the right choice :) - Casa Minerva is next to a Primary School, so in week days, during their brake, you may hear the noise of them playing. - As you can see in the pictures, is a place with a lot of sunlight, so if you need complete darkness and silence, this may not be the best place for you. - To access the bedroom we have stairs, so keep that in mind before booking. Casa Minerva it’s an experience. It may not be for you if you are looking for traditional accommodation. Take your time on the reviews.
