A classy, compact apartment in a historic building right in the center of Buenos Aires. Large bed, wooden flooring, elevator, reliable WiFi, safe neighbourhood. The perfect location to explore the city. Near good restaurants, shops and lots of public transport. The space Here you will feel safe and enjoy your stay: a beautiful and cozy apartment (one living room, one bedroom) on the fourth floor of a tranquil, well conserved historic building (with elevator), only one block from Plaza del Congreso right in the heart of Buenos Aires. Ideal for couples or single travelers. Non-smoking. The apartment is furnished with dedication and care using healthy, natural materials, thinking of your comfort and pleasure. High speed WIFI internet access. High ceilings, parquet floors in both rooms provide for good natural ventilation. For tall guests, we installed a large, queen sized bed (2m long x 1.6m wide). Premium mattress. Blackout curtain in the bedroom. Safety deposit box for your valuables. Kitchen facilities include microwave oven, electric kettle, gas stove, refrigerator, stainless steel cooking utensils. Bathroom with shower and running hot water. Healthy 'Ecosol' infrared heating system in living and bed room. On very hot days, ceiling and floor ventilators in living room, and an air conditioner in the bed room, give you freshness on demand. If you stay for more than two weeks you get cleaning service for free from my trusted cleaner. The building and the neighborhood are safe, and in a part of down that does not flood during heavy rains. Near Avenidas Corrientes, Callao, and Rivadavia, the historic Avenida de Mayo with its emblematic Palacio Barolo, traitional cafes Cafe de los Angelitos and Cafe Tortoni, the open air restaurant/theater/bar/concert venue Paseo La Plaza, the magnificent opera Teatro Colón, and many other tourist attractions. Due to its central location you can do most visits and shopping by foot. Excellent access to public transport with two underground stations (subway lines A and B), many bus lines and taxis nearby. In the neighborhood you find bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, butchers, fishmongers, banks, and laundries. A large supermarket is right around the corner. In addition, plenty of cafes, small restaurants where locals go (from succulent steaks to tasty vegetarian and vegan places), theatres, cinemas, bookshops, music stores and lots of tango (good tango schools, practicas, milongas, and some of the best tango shoe stores). If you want to get, or stay, in shape during your city trip, you will find an excellent Pilates studio, as well as several gymnasiums and swimming pools nearby.
