WELCOME TO "EL COTORRO" BUENOS AIRES, SAN TELMO In the best location, our COTORRO is an oasis of calm and style in the heart of the most tango neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The space EL COTORRO offers: PRIVILEGED LOCATION: Superbly located in the historic area of San Telmo, just steps from the legendary Plaza Dorrego and Calle Defensa with its Sunday fair, on a corner with all amenities. In the surroundings there are many milongas, restaurants, bars, various businesses, and it is only 2 blocks from the San Telmo Market, with its very diverse commercial and gastronomic offerings. Plaza de Mayo is also nearby, and there is easy access to public transportation (buses, subways, taxis) and the highway that leads to Ezeiza International Airport. THE CHARM OF THE OLD AND THE COMFORT OF THE MODERN: Although EL COTORRO is in a building with heritage protection, it has been completely refurbished. The concept of the units and all the facilities were carried out a few years ago, following the most current parameters. SPACIOUS: The clean, bright and air-conditioned space gives the guest a feeling of well-being and enjoyment. Although it is a studio apartment, it is spacious and has high ceilings. We provide three distinct and comfortable areas: living room, kitchen-dining room, and bedroom. REFINEMENT: Modern, subtle and refined atmosphere. Unique and original local artwork and crafts. LOVE FOR DETAIL: Each corner is specially conceived, designed, and carefully executed by our hands, those of the owners (Miryam and Gustavo) who personally take care of the maintenance and the stylistic proposal. LOTS OF LIGHT / LOTS OF SUN: Fully external apartment, with three huge windows, one for each area of the apartment (living room, dining room and bedroom), which allow the entry of sun and lots of natural light. It should be noted that all windows have airtight seals and blackout roller curtains to ensure sound, light, and visual insulation. For the night, modern luminaires for general lighting, lighting of work surfaces and effect, added to dim light for moments of relaxation complete the setting. ALL AMENITIES: Comfortable furniture, accessories of all kinds to meet the needs of our guests, a generous bathroom with plenty of hot water, and spacious closets guarantee a perfect stay. In detail: - Queen size sommier bed with spring mattress, with premium bedding. - Comfortable sofa - 1-person bed; for relaxation, work or sleep. - Cold-heat air conditioning. - 32" LED cable TV and DVD player. - Wi-Fi Internet. - Kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, 2-burner electric stove, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. - Table and dishes for 4 people. - Full bathroom, with bidet and bathtub. - A safe. - Iron and hairdryer. - The building has a manager, a lobby, a solarium, a terrace with a barbecue, and a laundry room with a washing machine and a clothes dryer available for stays longer than 30 days. San Telmo, and lunfardo itself - which is a language of the street and the suburbs used mainly between 1900 and 1930 - are the very essence of tango.
